Each location is different but generally, the trip price includes round-trip airport transfers, lodging, most meals and one or two sightseeing excursions. Trip prices do not include airfare, spending money, a few meals, bottled water, tips, personal items, international telephone fees or miscellaneous items. Each trip will be outlined with included and excluded items prior to trip approval.
Currently UBELONG works with groups of 5 or more traveling together and not individuals.
Each location has different local programs where group members will volunteer. They range from schools to food banks to homes for the elderly. If your group has a special type of project they would like to volunteer at, please reach out and we will be happy to tell you what is available!
Once we have an approved trip planned, each participant will need to submit a $300 non-refundable deposit along with their application. 50% of the remaining trip cost will be required 120 days prior to departure and the remaining fees will be due 60 days prior to departure.
We do not help with obtaining visas. However, we are more than happy to point you in the right direction. We are not responsible for denied visas or other travel restrictions. Please educate yourself early as to what your specific country requires including COVID vaccination or testing requirements.
Yes, we require each individual purchase travel insurance. It is not part of your trip package. However, it is not very expensive. We recommend your group purchases trip insurance that covers you for cancellations for any reason.
